I have been quilting for about about 20 years. My husband and I lived in Waterloo for many years and after viewing an amazing quilt show there, a friend bought me my first kit, a log cabin heart, as an intro. She also was instrumental in nudging my involvement with the annual 10 day quilt show for many years. Sadly, that show is no longer. I make mainly small pieces which I find more manageable, and finishable! I do some cross stitch and have occasionally painted fabric. Fun, but very messy!!!
I enjoy trying different Judaica patterns for wall art or as challah covers.
