Marsha Barber is a poet and a journalism professor with the Creative School at Toronto Metropolitan University in Canada. She is the author of four books of poetry: “What is the Sound of Someone Unravelling” (2011) “All the Lovely Broken People,” (2015), “Love You to Pieces,” (2019), and “Kaddish for My Mother” (2022). Her writing has appeared in such periodicals as the Literary Review of Canada, The Antigonish Review, FreeFall, The New Quarterly, The Walrus, Juniper and The Prairie Journal. She has won many awards for her work, and been longlisted for the national ReLit prize and shortlisted for the the Montreal International Poetry Prize. Marsha has been invited to feature her poetry all over the world, including in Australia, Cambodia, England, Israel, Italy and Laos. She’s on faculty at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto.
