Simchat Torah Celebration
Join us as we finish reading the Torah and immediately start it again, the only way to celebrate an ending that’s really a beginning! Bring the whole family for joyful hakafot, singing, and dancing with the Torah scrolls through the sanctuary and beyond.
We’ll honour our Chatan Torah and Kallat B’reishit, the community members called up to celebrate the final and first words of the Torah, take in presentations from our Shabbat School students, and journey through the Torah’s highlights with Rabbi Leszner, Reb Aaron, and Rob Silver, and of course Kishke, a klezmer band comprised of many Darchei Noam members.
Come ready to enjoy light refreshments and dance, kids and grown ups alike.
