Darchei Noam Elul Cemetery Visit with Rabbis

📅 Sunday September 7th ⏰ 10:30  am 📍Pardes Chaim (Rabbi Tina) & Pardes Shalom (Rabbi Ryan) In the month of Elul, as we prepare our hearts for the High Holy Days, it is a long-standing Jewish tradition to visit the graves of family and loved ones. This meaningful practice helps us reflect, remember, and enter the Days of Awe with a sense of connection and renewal. Join our rabbis, Rabbi Tina Grimberg and Rabbi Ryan Leszner, for prayer and reflection as we gather in the Darchei Noam community sections of our local cemeteries, Pardes Chaim and Pardes Shalom.

Join Us for a Post-Kiddush Program: Hosted by Avital Brown

Join Us for a Post-Kiddush Program: Hosted by Avital Brown Saturday, September 13th at 1:15 PM   AVITAL BROWN is the co-founder of PosiTeam Consulting and Training, which was established to assist hi-tech organizations in coping with management challenges. Alongside her partner at PosiTeam, Brown has overseen and delivered capacity-building programs for Palestinian hi-tech companies in collaboration with CISCO, USAID, and the European Union. She has been actively involved in the field of training and education since 1984, working across Israel, North America, and Australia. Brown is also a dedicated member of Women Wage Peace (WWP) since its early days. She serves as a member of the Strategic Team and was selected to be part of the Steering Committee for the years 2021-2022. Additionally, she contributed to the outreach team, focused on fostering relationships with Palestinian women and women globally. Motivated by her personal experiences, including her sons and son-in-law serving on the front lines during the 2014 Gaza War , Brown joined WWP with the utmost determination and faith that peace, alongside security, is possible. She is deeply committed to taking collective responsibility with other women to actively pursue this goal. Women Wage Peace (WWP) is a large, non-partisan Israeli grassroots peace movement, founded in 2014 during the Gaza War, that advocates for an end to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through a negotiated political solution that includes the active participation of women. The movement is known for its diverse membership across religious, ethnic, political, and secular lines, as well as for its collaborations with the Palestinian movement, Women of the Sun, to promote a shared vision for peace and security. WWP's strategies include marches, street presence, parliamentary work, and community engagement to build popular support for peace and to pressure decision-makers for a diplomatic resolution
