Please join us on Shabbat morning, October 3rd, 2026, as we celebrate Sylvio Izzo Hunter and David Last as our Kallat Bereshit and Chatan Torah. Come hear the stories of their personal spiritual journeys as they each share a d’var with the Congregation. Later that day at 5:30 pm, our celebrations continue with our annual Simchat Torah Celebration where Sylvia and David will be called upon for the aliyot of the final and first words of the Torah.
Looking back at the time we spent together over the High Holy Days, I think of all the powerful moments we have shared together as a community. Over these sacred days, we gathered in prayer, reflection, celebration, and connection. We stood side by side, strengthened by our traditions, new approaches and by one another.
As Rabbi Leszner taught us, being a Kehila Kedoshah means that everyone shows up and offers what they can. Whether through our time, talents, or financial support, every contribution strengthens the community.
