Ark Adventures is designed for young children (ages birth to 5) and their families to experience Shabbat in community together. The program is offered on select Saturdays throughout the year. Chatan Torah and Kallat Bereshit: Shabbat October 3 Join us for this special festival Shabbat service as we honour our members, David Last and Sylvia Hunter, as our Chatan Torah and Kallat Bereshit. David and Sylvia will share reflections on their Jewish journeys and what brought them to Darchei Noam. This special celebration is a highlight of our High Holidays season and an opportunity to come together as a community, celebrate our honourees, and hear their stories. All are welcome. Learn More

Israeli Dancing  Please join us toward the end of kiddush in the Social Hall for an hour of Israeli dancing. All are welcome to join us in this fun, community-building activity. Join us to enjoy Israeli music and movement.

Simchat Torah Celebration Join us as we finish reading the Torah and immediately start it again, the only way to celebrate an ending that's really a beginning! Bring the whole family for joyful hakafot, singing, and dancing with the Torah scrolls through the sanctuary and beyond. We'll honour our Chatan Torah and Kallat B'reishit, the community members called up to celebrate the final and first words of the Torah, take in presentations from our Shabbat School students, and journey through the Torah's highlights with Rabbi Leszner, Reb Aaron, and Rob Silver, and of course Kishke, a klezmer band comprised of many Darchei Noam members. Come ready to enjoy light refreshments and dance, kids and grown ups alike. A perfect way to close out the holiday season together!   Register Here
