Preparing for the High Holy Days: Spiritual Reflections and Personal Growth (In person or via Zoom) Tuesdays, September 10, 17, and 24 - 07:30 p.m. 864 Sheppard Ave W The month of Elul is a sacred time for introspection, spiritual growth, and preparation for the High Holy Days. This three-session course, led by diverse and knowledgeable teachers, offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding and experience of this significant period in the Jewish calendar. Each session will focus on different aspects of spiritual preparation, providing participants with practical insights, reflective practices, and communal learning. We will come together at Darchei Noam Community Memorial service in honour of the kidnapped and murdered last year on October 7, 2023. Following the service we will join in an online presentation by the Hartman Institute in Jerusalem. Professor Rachel Korazim will speak about "A Year in Poetry: Marking the Anniversary of October 7."
